About Cupindy

Cupindy is an independent research site about home and kitchen products. We write about cookware, small appliances and the materials they are made from — steel grades, coatings, silicone, plastics — and what the safety claims on the box actually mean.

We do not sell anything. Cupindy started as a retailer in Egypt. Retail ended in 2026. The research is what we kept.

How we work:

• We cite primary sources, with dates — the FDA, the CPSC, and similar bodies.
• When a brand claims a product is PFAS-free or food-grade, we report it as the brand’s claim, and say when no lab has verified it.
• Every product we recommend gets a stated drawback. A pick with no downside listed is an advertisement.
• We do not run a testing lab, and we say so rather than implying otherwise.
• When the honest answer is “nobody knows,” that is the answer you get.

We earn from advertising and from affiliate commission. Neither changes a verdict — see our affiliate disclosure.

If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission. You pay exactly the same price — it comes out of the retailer’s margin. These links are marked as sponsored in the page code, and any article using them says so above the first link.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to personalise them. You can turn that off in Google’s Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. We do not choose which ads appear, and an ad is not an endorsement.

What this does not change

• No brand has ever paid for a review, a recommendation or a placement, and none can.
• Some of our guides conclude you should buy nothing. Those pages earn us nothing. We publish them anyway.
• Commission rates never decide rankings.

We do not publish prices — they go stale, and a stale price is a small lie. Check the retailer. Temperature ratings and material claims are as stated by manufacturers; we have not lab-verified them.
